1. Walk-through
We’ll begin with a tour of your space, where I’ll ask you to explain how you use each area. I’ll also invite you to share what’s working, what’s not, and any preferences you have for how you’d like things organized.
2. Pull out & sort
Once we've identified the areas to organize and set your goals, I'll start by laying everything out so we can go through it together.
3. Edit
Next, you and I will work together to go through your items and determines which ones you'll keep. This is the most important part of the process because it helps us understand what's important to you. I'll guide you by asking thoughtful questions about each item and offering tips on how to decide what to keep or let go of. However, it's always your decision whether to keep something. It's normal to feel emotional during this process, and I'll be there to support you every step of the way. I simply ask that you come with an open mind, and I promise to do the same.
4. Strategize
After we've sorted through everything, you can take a well-deserved break while I get to work. During this phase, I'll take measurements and start mapping out an organizational plan for your space. Once I have a solid game plan, I'll bring you back in to share my recommendations for organizing products and systems that I believe will work best for you.
Your honest feedback is essential—together, we’ll collaborate to create a solution that excites you and fits your needs perfectly. This space is all about you, and my goal is to make it as functional and personalized as possible.
5. Shop
I'll take a trip to the store to purchase the organizing products we've agreed upon for your new system and bring them back to your home.
6. Implement
If we’re ordering furniture or other products that need to be shipped to your home, I’ll come back for a second session where I’ll assemble the new furniture and organize everything for you.
For simpler jobs, I'll implement and organize everything in the same day.
7. Wrap-up
After I'm finished, I'll pull you back in to show you the final product. I'll give you tips on how to maintain the system and answer any questions you have.
